Friday, 26th of June 2026 | A compilation of fashion news items from the week, which circulated my vicinity and/or caught my eye.
Below are a couple things I found interesting enough to pass onto the group chat for discussing, ogling or shouting strong opinions at. Some may prompt a count-down clock to be pinned to the chat banner, a wallpaper to be changed, or an immediate Google and sign up... the ball's in your court !
Vinted - set to launch in Australia
For quite some time now Australian fashion enthusiasts, second-hand sellers and flea market-goers have watched on with envious eyes as the UK, USA and most of Europe scoured the resale clothing app Vinted. Reviews, hauls and outfit try-ons haunted feeds across Sydney, Melbourne and the country as we watched people find insanely gorgeous second-hand and vintage pieces over and over again. Yes, we have Depop and Facebook Marketplace, but nothing has quite seemed to match the frantic excitement of Vinted users as they unbox a package. The recent news that Vinted - the most coveted second-hand fashion resale app internationally - was set to launch in Australia, has sent gasps across the fashion hobbyist cohort - I imagine this has caught your attention too.

Charli XCX - Wink Wink
The third single gifted to our earholes by hers truly, Charli XCX - the rockstar, popstar and style icon of our modern day. New release Wink Wink, teased our feeds this morning (9 hours ago roughly, for those in Sydney, Australia), and has been played on my Spotify 10+ since, at least. The idolic artist continues to edge us towards her Music, Fashion, Film album launch July 24th, with this one. Hopeful anticipation for a fourth single beforehand, lingers..
9 hours of Wink Wink out in the wild and to answer your question, yes I am a fan. Particularly, of the styling in the music video - for Charli, the outfits collaboratively collated by Chris Horan and Charli herself, were texturally and colourfully intriguing to me. The organza moments popped, drawing connection to many in-store trends I have been seeing (and loving) lately. Also, the pops of aquamarine coloured pieces carried throughout was very appreciated - the contrast of the suit on/in the mud, was a top contender.
a. outfits I'm calling out
Past the provocative front of the music video, the pieces, shots, angles, patterns, colours - were clearly very cleverly chosen with precision and intention. Such attention to detail, enabled carefully contrasted artistic moments, and conceptual storytelling that only a creative dream team could produce (creative direction by Imogene Biz). Some of the focal 'fits were pulled apart in an analysis post by @a2z_fashionmag pointing out pieces from @nii.hai worn throughout.
b. more highlights from my Wink Wink replays
Louis Vuitton - Menswear SS27
Thursday night, my boyfriend suggested that we put on the LV SS27, replays. Once again, he's ahead of the game - I'm yet to watch it, and thrilled by the suggestion. We start with the Menswear show - flopped on the couch watching, nacho dinner in hand. We share 'Ooos' and 'ahhHH's as each fit struts down the runway, out from underneath a massive barrel installation. Pharrell Williams' artistic direction combined relaxed beach-side motifs from the 60s and 70s, with a polished luxury city-life feel. The intentional juxtaposition of subtle flares, colour combinations of vibrant orange, mustard yellows and faded turquoise, interjected with elevated, high-end tailoring. The cross-roads highlighted connections to the surf and skate cultures of those eras, bringing a refined and effortless aesthetic of smooth-beachside city chic.
The following looks stole the show for me:
..I guess that was most of them. Working on the refine factor of favourites.
Probably a bit late to the party on the above, but nonetheless my thoughts, feelings and opinions have been shared. Until next news !
With love,
xx
