Green tote bag, cream towel, black sunnies, black packaged sunglasses, white wire headphones and the book Good Material by Dolly Alderton on a rock.

Sending my love to those in the USA this week. Quite utterly baffled and upset to hear the news - struggling to comprehend the results, and what this means for the future; for women especially.

Some of the news and media outlets I follow have been recommending that we take some time to switch off for a bit and focus on the little things in the day that make us smile. Whilst I believe it to be super important to stay informed about the world, I do agree here - if you can afford it, take just a couple hours today to go OFFLINE and distract yourself with something simple.

Here are some of my suggestions:

BOOKS

For something relatable, laughable and nostalgic in a heartbreaking kind of way.

For something to take you away from this world, with a side of spice.

For a classic, picturesque, tell of a historical Australia.

ACTIVITIES

Enjoy a yoga class

Read a book at the beach

Go on a museum tour

DATES

Take yourself to a paint and sip class

Picnic in the park with your bestie or bb

Treat your parents to breakfast

With love,
