  • Winter Workwear style

Let’s be real — getting dressed for the office in a Sydney winter is a sport. One that involves battling wind tunnels, unpredictable aircon, and footwear that’s stylish and allows for a midday power stomp. Here’s a lil winter workwear style diary from someone who’s just trying to keep warm, look vaguely put together, and make it through the week with semi-washed hair. The Real Struggles of Corporate Winter workwear style Before we get into the outfit scroll, let’s unpack the chaos: Office Aircon: Never know if I’m walking into a bottle-shop cool room or a Bali resort. CBD Wind: Harsh, biting, and somehow always targeted at my ankles. Shoes: Must be tall enough that my trousers don’t drag through puddles (ew), but comfy enough to walk ten blocks for a salad. Case in point: I recently picked up these square-toe slingback pumps from Charles & Keith — stunning, but the strap is more of a suggestion. My power walk has been replaced with a delicate shuffle. Still, they’re cute. We move. pumps in question The workwear style Fits 1. Probable Wednesday Fit - Simple. Predictable. Low on laundry. That kind of outfit where the pants does all the heavy lifting. 2. Mystery-Day Green Moment - Unclear what day this was, but I was feeling powerful in green. This top was a $1 op shop find from six years ago — still a fave. Wore it like I was ready to present a billion-dollar finding. 3. Running Late, New Bag - A chaotic morning. Hair: not my day. Mood: frazzled. Outfit: decent thanks to my tote that’s doing most of the work (and emotional support). 4. Mood was up. Must have been a Friday. Definitely treated myself to an extra coffee this day. 5. The non-slick back pony suggests a possible late start, and accidental sleep in... but I appreciated the more girly-forward look and the brown colour combo I managed to compile. Current: Winter workwear Staples Some pieces have been on heavy repeat — because when it’s cold and you’re running late, the formula matters. Black Baggy Trousers (Camilla and Marc) Oversized Sweater Vest (op shop find) Slouchy Brown Tote (Amazon) Jewellery in Rotation: Chunky gold pieces (Oroton) Silver rings I found at a crystal shop Kmart hoops I will defend with my life Jewellery has become my secret hack to improving the 'I tried' aspect. I'm not really a makeup to work girl, so this is my compromise. Reality Check: No Steam, No Shame Let’s be honest — several of these outfits feature wrinkled skirts, un-ironed collars, and rogue lint. I’ve been choosing sleep over steaming. No regrets. (Okay, some regrets.) Tell Me Your Winter workwear Hacks If you’ve got tricks for staying warm while still looking corporate cute, please drop them in the comments. I’m currently layering thermals like a 70-year-old mountain trekker under my button ups and pretending no one can tell. with love, Delaney xx

  • influencer inspiration of late

Not to be dramatic, but I recently started a new job that consists of a 50-minute bus and train commute to work and I’m dead. Like, that's obviously pretty standard for Sydney, so I will suck it up and get over it, but as an avid non-morning person, being on public transport, half-awake, under-caffeinated at 7-something AM is NOT OKAY in my opinion. Alas, the job is good, so I will force my attitude to be the same — Instagram and Pinterest influencer inspiration doom-scrolling has definitely helped. AND I think the fashion influencer girlies have unknowingly become a larger part of my day than I intended... I love the influencer inspiration and joy it brings me. Fashion has always been one of my little happy places, but lately it’s the girlies online who have been really eating it up. The fits, the radical layering, and wild accessorising have been my daily inspo . They are out here looking fierce, and I’m literally just trying to remember to get off at the right station (I quite literally missed my stop the other day — I repeat: not a morning person). There’s just something so delicious about watching someone throw together a look that’s effortlessly chaotic but somehow makes sense in the coolest way. It’s art. It’s self-expression . And I’m obsessed. Recently , I’ve been obsessed with a few influencers in particular. I just love the layers , colour, and texture combos they’re throwing together. They give major 'fun, cool-girl, nonchalant' energy and are inspiring me A-LOT. Here are three girlies who have been living rent-free in my saved folders lately: Olivia Hirst — @olhirst The edgy, maximalist, effortless cool-girl vibes, all miraculously in Miu Miu. Perfection. I am obsessed with her outfits — how experimental they are, how many elements she puts into a look, and how they are so blatantly cool. She really screams fashion. Lara Adkins — @laraadkins She really emulates the life of a fun little sister, and I love how girly and Y2K inspired she is. Her vibe is so Polly Pocket, cute, colourful, and playful. She makes me want to feel five years old again, in the best ways. I love the adamant lack of trying to look adult (that boring sort of vibe we all at some stage feel the need to transition to) she carries, and feel very inspired by the fun and playful vibe of not only her outfits but how she perceives her attitude towards life online. Morgan — @morgan.ag I’m in love with her mid-century, 60s/70s-inspired living spaces, and outfits - how this is carried into (or vice versa) her fashion taste is immaculate. I am obsessed with that era and love seeing modern-day girlies inspired by the fashion of that time. The silhouettes , liveliness of the culture, and patterns are to die for, and she does a great job at portraying this in her fits and photos. THANK YOU girlies for inspiring me day-in-day-out, and for making my daily commute fun. Always in need of more inspo! So DM me your favourite fashion guys or girlies of the minute. MUCH LOVE, xx DELANEY <3

  • Current wishlist

I’ve accepted it: I’m a material gurl . I love my wardrobe, and I’ll probably always have a wishlist of things that could make it even better. As much as I adore the planet, the environment and all that good stuff, I also want to—maybe, one day —buy myself a ridiculously expensive handbag, strut around in Christian Louboutins and a Chanel jumpsuit, and jump into a 1970s Volkswagen Beetle that somehow still runs (thanks to a heroic amount of work). Which brings me to my current wishlist situation: a wishlist the size of a novel and a bank account that is firmly not on board. So, because manifestation is real (and because scrolling and dreaming is half the fun ), I’ve pulled together a little shopping wishlist of everything I’m currently obsessed with. Some realistic, some delulu (as Albo recently said)—but all absolutely essential for the future life I’m curating in my head. ITEM 1. Nike Cortez SE ITEM 2. Hommey Robe - Vanilla Bean Stripes ITEM 3. Coach Cargo Turnlock Soft Tabby ITEM 4. Bed Threads Sage & Olive Two-Tone Quilt ITEM 5. Coach Ruthie Loafer ITEM 6. adidas Originals 70s Club Jacket And that is all for now.. I will likely be buying none of what is on my current wishlist, but hey - it's fun to dream or whatever. Until next week. MUCH LOVE, xx DELANEY <3

  • Winter Fashion: Decoding Cosy-Chic

Figuring out how I want to dress in the coldest months of the year. A struggle in itself — exciting nonetheless. How does one look cute and fashionable during winter, whilst actually maintaining some body heat to minimise an otherwise likelihood of freezing? Doom-scrolling Pinterest , 17 days into Sydney's official winter, and eyeing countless fashion cuties, I began a board based on inspo I’d love to draw into my daily and weekend outfits this season. These girls have figured it out, and the cosy-chic energy they’re bringing is it . Cosy-chic originated from the spike in a hygge  way of being, back in 2016. Hygge is a Danish word centred around the concept of enjoying the slow, cosiness of life; well-being, and a content way of living (very winter fashion girl core). This bled into the fashion world that same year, showing up in knits, warm and cosy fits, and a heavy focus on soft activities like tea-drinking, reading, chilling in cafés and eating pastries. From here, the trend only grew — especially during the COVID era — and it’s stuck around since. Social media and the rise of niche fashion influencers who centre their content on things like minimalism, cosy living, cottage-core fashion, craft, and the Pinterest -girl aesthetic (such as Emma Chamberlain’s want to “get dressed up and walk around town”) all helped keep it alive. I can definitely relate to the hygge movement — it’s a great way to rationalise my Friday nights in as a twenty-something . Or the second red wine night of the week, sitting on the lounge room floor in my PJs, doing absolutely nothing with my roommate. And as The Guardian  said in 2016, 'it’s a chic way to bow out of the frenzied jollity of party season'. And that’s all I needed, folks... not that it’s exactly party season. So if you also feel the impending doom and dread of having to go out and do something exciting just because you’re in your twenties and meant  to be doing things like going out on a Wednesday night this winter — please, join the club or more accurately, don't. I will be spending the rest of the 2026 winter happily in my new Hommey robe (vanilla stripe , if you were wondering), drinking red wine, and dressing cute * see mood board above * when I absolutely  have to leave the house. Back to the Pinterest girls though — apologies for the tangent — cosy-chic and hygge fashion are the ticket this winter, and now that we know why, here’s how to achieve the look. DECODING winter fashion trend: cosy-chic a warm coat baggy tailored trousers OR baggy jeans (to fit thermals underneath...?) layers upon layers cosy, thick, chunky knits scarves boots cute bags and a hat (if you’re lucky enough to pull it off) Further detail on the mood board above I’ve become obsessed with the black and light-olive green colour combo that some of the girlies are rocking. Another combo I love, is the striped long sleeve as a base layer, under pretty much anything. Also loving the blend of fabric textures such as silk, and ruching. Dressing To enhance the warm factor baggy pants = thermal layering potential knee-high boots = extra leg warmth layered tops a hefty wool coat maxi skirt layered over pants, or skirt over maxi dress DRESSING: for the chic factor (aka fashionability of the ensemble): heeled boots (extra points for a pointed toe) a high-neck, button-up coat (iykyk) the bag is everything The main thing I’ve noticed with executing these outfits? You need a strong  base. I’m talking black and white basics, a striped top here and there, and some beige, navy or brown tonal pieces. Then you layer the shit out of the base with selective fun pattern, or texture pieces. If you’re anything like me, your closet may be overflowing with fun  items, which makes it really hard to piece together a fit when the basics are lacking. 5 pieces that will help with this If you don’t already have these in your wardrobe, go scout your local op shop this weekend: blue baggy jeans black/white long sleeve black/white/navy knit (turtleneck or crew neck) baggy tailored trousers in a neutral (black/white/beige/grey) boots big, neutral-coloured coat From here, you can pull together a lovely fit by simply adding a patterned scarf or  a statement coat or  bold-coloured bag and voilà — cool, cosy-girl energy achieved. Extra points if your colour pairings are matched (e.g. belt + bag, shoes + barrette/scarf). Stay warm cuties. with love, xx ps. you can view my cosy-chic fashion board on Pinterest here

  • 7 sexii sneakers

this seasons round up of sexii sneakers ... Good morning to all the girlies (and guys) who currently are fitted-out in their newest pair of sexxccciii sneakers. WE SEE YOU - we (or at least I) think you are extremely cool, and am slightly envious as to how you make a pair of otherwise, objectively dad-vibe shoes look so damn stylish. In recent trolling-the-internet-for-cool-girl-shoes sessions, I have come across some VERY cool fashion people. My current favourites including: Olivia Hirst @_olhirst_ , and Morgan @ morgan.ag , who are both ROCKING the sneaker fits lately. Since, I have come to the conclusion that my current wardrobe is in dire need of a colourful, cute pair of sneakers. Alas, I fear my wish list has exploded to 7+ pairs that I feel at this stage, I cannot live without buying. Dramatic? yes. HOWEVER, as I am about to move house this weekend, and am trying to practice the whole out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new strategy with my closet to minimise hoarding, and maximise minimalist-chic, I fear buying 7 new pairs of shoes will not only be a poor (quite literally) decision, but also a very unnecessary one. SO , because I am literally just a girl, I have allowed myself to buy one pair as a little treat. Help me - who's it gonna be?? • 9 CAPSULE CLOTHING PIECES

POV: you're literally just a girl, Living in a city in your early twenties. Working hard, playing hard, and trying to look cute, chic, and like a modern bad-arse girly-pop , all while surviving on an entry-level salary. Look, maybe that's just me... but surely not? Your early twenties are a great time to start thinking about your lifetime wardrobe. And while you might not have too much cashola to throw around, if you stick to a savings plan, you’ll be able to save enough to buy a few really nice lifetime pieces and  still go out on Fridays. I’m a firm believer that any wardrobe needs a base—or a blueprint. The colourful, trendy, experimental pieces come after your basics. Basics like a white tee are essential, but blueprint pieces, like a leather coat you might pass down to your kid one day, are where the magic happens. THIS is what I’m talking about when I mention your lifetime wardrobe. By your twenties, I feel like you’ve had enough time to experiment with your style and figure out what you like (and don’t like). Of course, you’ll always be experimenting with fashion —that’s normal and super important. But finding a few stunning pieces for your blueprint and really investing in them when you can justify it as 'just being a girl' will make a huge difference later on. Also, you’re going to look cute, so why the heck not? Here are my recommendations for pieces to buy in your early twenties: DENIM JACKET: Levis Vintage, is my pick Hot tip:  Don’t leave it at a party. You might not see it again. Instagram/@withdelaney LEATHER JACKET: I got mine off a lovely lady on market place Op shops and vintage stores are also great places to find one. Get one that fits you perfectly—it’s an investment, so treat it like one. OVER-SIZED BLAZER: Yet to find a forever one. In the meantime, I’m very much in love with this one from SIR. Get one that’s only slightly oversized—you don’t want to look like you’re drowning in it. Instagram/@withdelaney JORTS: I have a pair of high waisted, 90s vintage Levis The cut is a staple—very flattering, very versatile, and the colour is a great base. BLUE JEANS: Rollas Eastcoast flares are my go-to They actually fit perfectly. I feel feminine, comfortable, and confident, which is a rarity for me. TAILORED TROUSERS: I recently splurged on the Camilla and Marc Vendome Pants And I couldn’t be happier. I wear them a few times a week, and they’re perfection. BLACK SLIP DRESS: Again, waiting to find my own But I’d happily die in the DISSH Paloma black ruffled slip. BLACK LOAFERS: I have the Dr marten Adrian style Once you break them in, you’ll never take them off. Just push through the blister phase. BLACK BOOTS: I live in my ROC black Troupe boots The platform gives me a fake sense of confidence, and honestly, they’re so comfy. What does your wardrobe blueprint look like? With love, xx

  • A SUMMER LOVE LETTER

We’re over halfway through the summer of 2024/25, and it’s been nothing short of amazing.  Sunshine, clear blue water, and lazy beach days with friends have been the vibe. But as always, the post-holiday blur hits hard—one minute you’re wrapping up Christmas, and the next you’re back at work, juggling new year resolutions and reflecting on old ones. January is equal parts refreshing and overwhelming.  As January comes to an end, I am left feeling nostalgia for school holidays (random) and what used to feel like an endless amount of nothing days in summer . Seriously considering a feet pics account, so I can live at the beach forever again (ahah kidding). Unfortunately, I didn’t quite understand the extent of legal identification that was required when creating an account lol... sooo for now, I guess I’ll go back to work. It’s a hard life (kidding, I love my job). With February swinging in, with only a month of summer left, it’s the perfect time to motivate thy self to make the most of what’s left of sunshine, long nights and warm water. Whether it’s spending long days by the beach, catching up with friends, or just enjoying the slower pace, now’s the time to really appreciate the season, and these are the things that will ABSOLUTELY without a doubt, make it possible.   First up? A non-negotiable:   A beach bag - always have one packed and ready to go in the back of your car.   BEACH BAG CONTENTS SUNNIES Preferably from ROC Eyewear. I am IN LOVE with THIS  pair. ROC eyewear also makes their plastic frames from 100% post-consumer waste and are eco-conscious which is prettty cool.     BIKINIS  THIS  GUD-Swim pair is so cute, the comfiest and also earth-conscious, which is pretty cool.   SANDALS THESE Alexander Wang sandals, I bought for myself for xmas tehe because I’m just a girl, and you have to buy yourself presents sometimes. Also packing bandaids though, because my GAWD the break in is real.   BOOK A smutty, fantasy romance series is ideal, but a light-hearted beachy holiday romance or Dolly Alderton like THIS ONE  also makes the cut.   TOWEL Preferably a cute and fluffy one like THIS girl. SPF The Kind Collective lip balm  is my go to, and the MECCA Cosmetica SPF 50+  is also to die for – the consistency is so nice and smooth and doesn’t suffocate my face lol.   What you should be doing...  Drinking Aperol's  Hosting dinners on your deck (if you have one – otherwise a grassy hill does the trick)   Living in your swimmers   Napping at 3pm (on weekends, if you’re back at work)   Snorkel, swim, surf, float on a donut– the lot.   Have a day where you do absolutely nothing, and don’t feel guilty about it.     Document it.  Polaroid people! and make a wall of them. It’s a fun and a cute thing to look back on.   Have a digi cam on hand for an evening or possibly sloppy occasion (slightly more durable than the pretty polaroid).   Journal. Write about everything – make lists, talk about your memories, day-to-day, wants and don’t wants. Write about your feelings and emotions and make goals and resolutions. Reflect on the year past. Congratulate yourself – make a list of ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ and feel good about the things you want to carry on into 2025. I’m a firm believer that your resolutions don’t start until Feb 1st – Jan is for making them.     TIPS.   When resolution-ing (is there a word for this?) for the year ahead, make minimal BIG ones and lots of small ones to maximise achieving them. Some people talk about a word for your year – this is also a cute idea.   When journaling, write about the good moments, and the bad, but focus more on the good. Talk about the bad when you need to vent – it clears your head. But don’t dwell here – make lists of things that made you happy, or times when you laughed. At the end of summer, reflect on these entries and make lists of things you were doing that made you feel good. As someone who struggles a smidge in winter, this really helped me recognise things that made me feel good, so that I could bring them through into winter. Now, go forth AND SUMMER HARD biddies (a modern day Shakespeare quote).   Cya, off for a swam and drank x     With love,  Xx

  • Best ways to style a button-up

To achieve an effortlessly, fashion-forward look. Button-ups are one of my favourite staple pieces in a wardrobe. They’re comfortable—most of the time cotton—and can be dressed up or down for different occasions with ease. I love the versatility of a button-up and find myself wearing one at least twice a week. Curious to know others’ thoughts on the matter, I asked you guys— A recent Instagram poll I posted showed that 25% of you prefer wearing your button-ups tucked, while the other 75% opt for untucked. Other suggestions on how to style them included: Half-tucked, for a business-casual look. Loved the clear preference for the untucked look! I also love a more casual button-up vibe, as it removes the sense of seriousness you’d otherwise get from business attire and adds an element of ‘whatever’ —or better said, effortlessness. I also reached out to a few lovely fashion girlies around the globe for their styling suggestions and favourite spots to buy button-ups. Here is what they said: Instagram/@laksvibe INSTAGRAM/@ laksvibe "I like to style my buttons up in more of a casual way, by having them done up and untucked, styling with a skirt or pants like these inspo photos below! I love getting my shirts second hand, or stealing my husbands hahaha. Love a vintage shirt if I can find one, especially if it’s Ralph Lauren or Tommy Hilfiger" Instagram/@itsjamiesonmay "My favourite way to wear a button up is half tucked in and half hanging out! Gives the most elegant but relaxed look. I love to buy button ups from Zara and Supre and Glassons as they seem to have the best quality at the lowest price ✨👏🏼" Instagram/@rolly.mag "I have some from Zara that are now my beach cover ups! I accidentally left them hanging near a window and they got discoloured in the sun so I’m repurposing them 😅😅 I like them because they are crisp!" Instagram/@ohbuoy Likes to wear a button-up "tied in a knot to accentuate curves". INSTAGRAM/@undoubtedly.ivana INSTAGRAM/@undoubtedly.ivana "Oversized and untucked! Whether it is with jeans or small skirt just peeking through the bottom - love a rolled up sleeve and as many buttons undone from the top as I can get away with! Super cute when you have an embellished or stand out lil bralette or something that can peep out too. Faves are from The Frankie Shop or Dazie the Lable via The Iconic. " x x x I loved all the suggestions! I also saw the stylish @alanahchannon styling her button-ups by buttoning every second button from one side, leaving the shirt looking asymmetrical. I LOVED this—such a cool, modern way to wear a piece that’s often overlooked. You can check her reel out HERE to see the style. I’m obsessed with the inspiration this callout gave me and can’t wait to try more ways of styling my basic button-ups over the next month. Thanks to all the fabulous chicks who shared their opinions on the matter! Much love, as usual—happy styling. With love, xx

  • Summer Fits

THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL HOTTER THAN THE WEATHER (*tehe) The weather has well and truly warmed up, and I am in heaven. I’ve been swimming before work in a crystal-clear, bluey-green ocean lake. I’ve been surfing after work. I’ve been out after dark without a jacket, and the air is warm. If you couldn’t tell, I guess I’m a summer girl. My happiness over the past month has truly skyrocketed. During this season, I LOVE to wear minis—mini skirts, mini shift dresses, mini shorts. But sometimes, making the shift from jeans season to this can be a big WOW. AHH. my legs are so ... EEEK kind of feeling, if you get me. NEVERTHELESS, I love what I love and want to wear what I want to wear (and so should you, because f*** the old guys who stare), so minis and faking confidence it is. Here are 4 ways I like to style my minis in the summer: Ruched mini shorts and boots – I probably sound like a broken record by now, but this combo is my unmatched favourite trend of the whole 2024 fashion year. I love how cutesy they are, while also being easy to style for a cool-girl vibe or sexy-bexy look, if you really want. They just scream, “I’m literally just a girl,” and I’m so totally here for it. I like pairing this with a graphic tee and shoulder bag—the tee tones down the girly vibe and adds a bit of effortless, day-to-day energy that makes the combo more pub appropriate. Mini dress and boots – This combo is fun for a girly brunch or cocktail hour. I especially love favouring a shift dress here, as the silhouette allows for lots of food and drinks to be had without your body feeling uncomfortable afterward. I love the mini length and usually pair it with a shoulder bag, sunnies, and a chilled red wine. Boxer shorts and boots – The PJs (or PJ-vibe) in the daytime is perfection. I love how funny fashion trends are; they’ve convinced us that, yes, in fact, as long as they’re a cute pinstripe, it’s socially acceptable to wear a PJ set to an event . The baby blue, pink, or olive green pinstripe shorts are my faves. They look to-die-for comfortable while still being cute in a way that doesn’t feel too bed-ish. However, I’m a twenty-something living in Sydney, and I am strictly on a budget at all times. So, my dupes came from the Target menswear section. Yes, mine are, in fact, just men’s boxer shorts. I had a few of you fooled. Mini skirt and boots – This one definitely makes me feel the cutesy-est. I have this vintage Tommy Hilfiger skirt I love to wear for this combo. I often wear it to the shops, running errands, or just for basic day-to-day things, with a tank, plaits in my hair, and a cap. It feels a bit noughties-esc which I like to dabble in here and there.  I will be wearing knee high boots for as long as I can struggle through the heat because if you can’t tell, they are my ride-or-die. What’re your fave boots and mini combos at the moment?  Hope you’re enjoying the sunshine !  With love,  Xx

  • THE ULTIMATE Swimwear Style Guide

I asked women around the world for their top swimwear picks—here’s what they love. The sun is shining, the breeze is warm, and we’ve made it to that beautiful time of year when nothing really matters. These few days between Christmas and New Year’s feel like honey—smooth sailing, golden, and slow. I love spending this time lying in the sun, living in my bikini, reading, writing, and enjoying moments with family and friends. Summer is glorious, and having a good pair of swimmers to live in during this season is a must. I recently spoke to some lovely women from around the world about their favourite swimwear brands, pieces, and cuts. Here’s what they had to say. HEARING FROM @maya.cofield “My favorite brand is bright swimwear!…Citrus floral is my fav pattern!!” SHOP THE MARIA BOTTOMS HERE: $50 AUD For more citrus floral print, look HERE. My take: Flowers, bright colours, and cute side ties—this cutesy Y2K aesthetic print is summer perfection. Hearing from @rolly.mag   “I bought both of these brands after seeing Lucy Neville wear them; Modi Bodi  and You Swim . I’m always between sizes so You Swim  really appealed to me because there was no fuss with sizes, their philosophy is that the swimwear will fit your body as it naturally fluctuates in size. I bought these at Black Friday in the sale.” SHOP THE EVA SET HERE: $239 AUD My take: Love a textured swim set! This colourway is so sunny and vibrant, perfect for a pool day.  “The Modi Bodi  pieces give my confidence to swim comfortable when I have my period. It’s such an innovative design, I’m very grateful for it. I’m looking at purchasing this sparkly one piece, imagine this with a cute skirt after the beach!” SHOP THE SHIMMER SUIT HERE: $110.99 AUD  My take: AH! The shimmer. Obsessed. The way this brand caters and innovates for women is unmatched. Hearing from @jacintaleesha “Well I've just worked with Cupshe AU , and my favourite piece is their reversible halterneck bikini top and bottom as there are so many different ways you can style and wear them. Plus their bikinis are so comfy and provide good coverage (if you know what i mean ahaha)” SHOP THE HALTER TOP HERE: $44.95 AUD My take: I love the cut of these bottoms– the hike is super flattering and the print is so cute and summery.  MY FAVE SUMMER SWIM: SHOP THE COURTNEY TOP HERE: $84 AUD  Chic, cute, flattering, and comfortable— GUD-Swim  has perfected their timeless swimwear cuts. The brand focuses on creative pieces that suit a woman’s body while keeping the earth happy by using “between 78% and 89% recycled materials.” Speaking from experience, the fabric is soft and strong, the cuts fit like a glove, and they flatter every body type. SHOP THE VENTURA TOP HERE: $59.99 AUD The 70s-inspired print hints at a vintage, retro time when the world lived (somewhat) in a relaxed, peace-and-love mode. The cut is cute and perfect for a day in the sun, tanning (with SPF on, of course). The triangle cut with thick straps looks sturdy, featuring the cutest gathers across both the bottoms and top. The brown colour palette sends me into an immediate state of relaxation. SHOP THE BOYLEG BOTTOMS HERE: $24.99 AUD A surfer's dream—a pair of swimmer bottoms that don’t float right off you! I find it so difficult to find swimmers that actually stay on while surfing. Not sure why this is such a foreign concept with designs… please enlighten me if I’m alone in this! I love summer and surfing, and when the water is warm enough to surf in just swimmers, it truly feels dream-worthy. I’ve been wearing this pair of bottoms (recently purchased) a lot lately, and I haven’t flashed a single soul. Apart from the practical reasons, I also love the 60s cut and pattern. It reminds me of the show Gidget. I’m obsessed with fashion from this era and love any chance to wear similar pieces. I loved hearing from other women around the world! Swimwear is such an important part of summer for me, and finding a pair I feel comfortable and cute in really makes the season so much better. Enjoy the sunshine! With love,  Xx

  • 2025 FASHION trends

I’m already obsessing OVER. and just like that, 2025 is well and truly under way. 2025 so far has been filled with 90s sunnies, friend hangs, chilled reds, tabis, slick back braids, cute sunnies, snorkelling, buying myself xmas presents tehe, and watching the fashion girlies posts popping across my feeds.   I love New Years - it's such an inspiring time (once you let go of the hectic resolutions) for the soul, the brain and the wardrobe. It gives me such a sense of new beginnings, and I love a rebrand.   Watching recaps of 2024 fashion trends, and predictions for 2025 trends makes me so excited. I love going through everything I see online and making a ‘love’ and ‘eh’ list. It’s super interesting to watch what works, and what doesn’t over the year in the fashion-sphere. Also, I find it hilarious watching myself fall for trends I thought ‘eh’ about at the start of the year... marketing is a bitch, and I fall for it hard.   See fashion trends that are hitting hard for me so far, below. I can't wait to see what else I obsess over in 2025. I have also included a few very irrational mega WISH-LIST items that will forever be sitting in my cart (unless I get rich and famous).   1.        The Rider Boot (derived from the rising equestrian trend of 2025) Love the classic, old-money feel of these.
